Aims and Context
- Advertisement with experimental techniques
- Genre: surrealism
- Target audience: Male and female. Smokers, trying to help them quit the addictive habit. Or at least showing them the negatives of it and what it does to a persons lungs and other effects on their bodies and day to day lives.
- Influences: Mitch Zeller, other non smoking advertisements.
- The use of actors to be kept to a minimum as I've been let down in the past so I'm keeping my piece of work to random people smoking at college and my nephew .
- The use of animals for a stranger context, smoke surrounding my cat (however i'll use a water vapour pen when filming so no harm is actually caused in the process)
- The sequence to be in black and white and experiment with lighting techniques such as natural and artificial as well as soft pools of light.
- One experimental feature I want to include is flashing images of other non smoking advertisements in-between a couple of the scenes as if there subliminal messages but because there such harsh images they'll be memorable.
- I want my advert to be looked at as an actual advert that could be shown on television and possibly even help real individuals in my class to give up as it did for me.

- Target audience: Young adults, showing them the disadvantages of drugs, how addictive they can be and the effect they have on your life
- I want to include experimental features, such as images flashing up then a blank screen then another image flashing quickly in a short amount of time to show the events of the night when consuming alcohol
- I also want to try different techniques with lighting, one of them being artificial in a nightclub and other scenes in natural light to have different effects
